Company Description:

Our client, a long-established foodservice provider based in Co. Meath, who’s clients include hotels, cafés, restaurants, bars and other food outlets throughout the midlands and North Leinster are looking for a Warehouse Manager for a maternity cover contract to manage all freezer, chill and ambient areas. Ideally looking for someone to start in June 2024 on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Reporting to Operations manager you will be responsible for:
” Management of all goods in and out of the warehouse.
” Ensure accuracy of stocks and stock control
” Management of warehouse staff, including shift rosters.
” Monitor performance standards and performance improvement.
” Ensure warehouse maintenance and hygiene is maintained to the highest standard. Liaise with our QC Manager.
” Management of health and safety, incident reporting and investigation.
” Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained and used correctly.
” Ensure accuracy of stocks and stock control.

Candidate Requirements:
” Previous experience in the running of a busy food based warehouse.
” IT skills, efficient with Microsoft word, excel etc.
” Flexibility with start and finish times.
” Manual handling certificate
” Own transport required
” Excellent organization and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
€40-45K annual salary (DOE)
Hours of Work:
” Anything from general 7/8am starts until 5pm
” 40-hour week
” 5/6-day operating week
” Ideally Mon-Fri role
” Candidate must be available for occasional Saturday if needed. (O/T rates apply)
