ISM Training Services specialise in providing accredited training for both private and business customers to attain or renew their Manual Handling certificate. Read our Manual Handling Frequently Asked Questions or learn more about our Health & Safety Courses.

Our Manual Handling course builds the knowledge and skills required to safely move heavy items in the workplace by lifting, carrying, lowering, pushing or pulling them. The course takes place in our Finglas and Tallaght classrooms over 2 hours.

Who Should Attend?

This course is intended for people whose work involves manually moving loads. It is recommended as part of every new employee’s induction and in cases where workplace risk assessments highlight the need for training. The training will provide participants with the knowledge and qualification to prevent injury at work, have effective communication with their colleagues and be more conscious of safety procedures in their organisation.

What Qualifications Will I Receive?

All trainees will receive an ISM Certificate of Completion provided they pass all theoretical and practical elements of the course. This certification is valid for 3 years. Certification can be renewed by completing the course again.
