ISM Recruitment is hiring Healthcare Assistants for HSE Hospitals within Kilkenny City,County Kilkenny, Ireland.

Salary and Benefits:

1. €17.41 to €21.89 per hour depending on proven previous experience. Premium rates apply for weekends, bank holidays, and qualification.

4. 24 hour on call support
5. Excellent HSE public sector rate of pay

Company Description:

1. Providing personal care to patients, such as washing and dressing.
2. Aiding the mobility of patients, providing assistance in getting around.
3. Report any notable activities or incidents to the person in charge.
4. Offering companionship to patients and being a friendly face.
5. Carrying out domestic duties as required, including laundry, cleaning and tidying.
6. Other responsibilities as required for the successful up-keep of the service

Candidate Requirements:

1. Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or Pre-nursing Studies or Community Care . All 8 Modules complete, 120 Credits
2. Eligible to work in Ireland – EU Passport or valid GNIB Card Stamp 1g, 4 or 5 or Blue card
3. Full vaccination record including Hep B (3 shots & titre), MMR, TB & Varicella
4. International Clearance if you have lived in a country/countries other than Republic of Ireland while over the age of 16 for more than 6 months.
5. Current employment as a Healthcare Assistant/Carer (6 months minimum, proof of employment required)

Hours of Work:

12 hours shifts – 8am – 8pm or 8pm to 8am
