Key Responsibilities:

Provide a timely and efficient parts delivery process for all workshop repairs (planned and unplanned), supporting technicians.
Perform routine checks to ensure parts availability for all workshop jobs.
Ensure fast, accurate delivery of components to relevant workshop jobs through effective order picking.
Pre-pick parts and plan orders for workshop jobs to optimize efficiency.
Prepare and process all parts-related documentation, ensuring job cards are accurately updated with parts information for invoicing.
Liaise with suppliers to order non-standard parts (e.g., non-Volvo parts) using ordering systems.
Provide accurate pricing quotes for workshop jobs.
Execute the warranty returns process, adhering to company policies (e.g., Volvo returns policy).
Manage and control workshop-related parts administration, including stock and delivery coordination.
Coordinate the supply of special tools and consumables to technicians.
Ensure pallets are stacked and strapped for returns.
Manage warehouse deliveries, allocate stock, and maintain tight control of parts inventory.
Cover front counter parts sales and telesales as needed.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in warehouse and workshop areas.
Adhere to company procedures, reporting errors, safety issues, or faulty equipment promptly to the Depot Manager.
Participate in company-required training and development programs.
Undertake breakdown cover (1 in 3 weeks, with additional pay).

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in the motor trade, with extensive knowledge of vehicle parts, order picking, job card management, and ordering systems.
Strong experience in stock management and coordinating deliveries, with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with handling warranty processes and parts-related admin paperwork.
Ability to manage a high-volume, busy environment supporting workshop technicians.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, approachable personality to fit into a small, amazing team.
Highly organized with strong forward planning and follow-up skills to close out item requests.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, and relevant parts systems).
Forklift license required.
Flexible approach to work tasks and excellent time management skills.
Local to Santry due to required Saturday shifts (every second Saturday, 8:00-12:00) and breakdown cover (1 in 3 weeks).

Salary and Benefits:

€45,000 – €50,000 per annum D.O.E, plus additional pay for breakdown cover (1 in 3 weeks).

Hours of Work:

Standard business hours, Monday-Friday, plus every second Saturday (8:00-12:00). Breakdown cover required 1 in 3 weeks (additional pay provided).
