Key Responsibilities:
” Plan and coordinate transport routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
” Monitor and adjust transport schedules to meet customer demands and service levels.
” Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
” Utilise transport management systems (TMS) to track fleet movements and optimise efficiency.
” Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
” Analyse data and generate reports to improve transport planning strategies.
” Resolve transport-related issues promptly to minimise disruptions and delays.
” Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and service updates.
Candidate Requirements:
” A degree in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable.
” CPC qualification or relevant transport certification is a strong advantage.
” Previous experience in a transport planning role within a fast-paced environment.
” Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
” Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office applications.
” Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
” A valid driver’s license is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
” €40,000 per annum
Rota and Hours of Work:
” 4 Days On and 4 Days Off Rotation
” 5pm to 5am
