The Irish School of Motoring now a household name, is Ireland’s No 1 provider of driving lessons and driving instructor training. Based in their Group Head Office in Dublin 11, operating a large network of over 150+ ADI instructors, who provide the very best in professional driving lessons.
Due to increased growth, ISM are now actively recruiting for a Driving School Franchise Operations Manager to support, manage and grow the driver training division, in particular its Car Franchise Division.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
” Managing over 150 existing ISM driving instructors nationwide.
” Further increasing brand awareness and increasing existing and new customer engagement for our network of ADI’s throughout the 26 counties.
” Driving quality standards across the driving instructor network.
” Developing, managing and growing relationships with ISM’s existing B2B customers.
” Recruiting new driving instructors.
” increasing ISM’s nationwide market share in both learner driving and ISM driving instructors.
” Working closely with colleagues in terms of enhancing and developing ISM’s digital marketing presence in order to achieve maximum results.
” Utilising sales support technology in an effective manner.
” Introducing new ideas and developing new business relationships to increase sales.
Candidate Requirements:
Suitable candidates for this role, will ideally have worked at an operations/business development level in a similar training, transport or related industry and possess:
” A high-level understanding of the Driving School industry.
” Excellent multi-tasking skills in a busy working environment.
” Excellent people and communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
” Commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the market, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
” Previous achievement(s) in successfully running a business division or entity with particular emphasis on year-on-year growth, customer engagement and innovation.
” Ability to organise time, tasks and administration to maximise effectively productivity and efficiency to meet personal and company goals. This includes problem-solving and being able to think on your feet.
” Skills of self-starter, with high initiative and not afraid to think outside the box.
” Min full clean B Licence.
” Ability to effectively use and understand MS Office and CRM.
Salary and Benefits:
” Negotiable depending on experience circa €45K to €55K (DOE).
” Commission.
” Company can provide access to a vehicle during working hours for external meetings if required.
Hours of Work:
” Monday to Friday, generally 8am – 5pm.
” Flexibility regarding working hours is required.
