Company Description:

ISM Recruitment are now recruiting for Artic Drivers on behalf of our client a well-established retail haulage business based in North County Dublin. The ideal candidate will need over one year’s experience for insurance purposes. The ideal person will need to be customer focused. There will be a mixture of retail store deliveries and bay to bay deliveries to retail distribution centres throughout Ireland. Both day shifts and night shifts available.

Reporting to Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

Liaise with the Transport Manager daily to ensure high levels of service are maintained and to support the driver in becoming an integral part of the Team
Ensuring your vehicle and trailer are checked prior to departure (Driver Walkaround)
Report any defaults.
Ensure trip sheet information is correct.
Driving to deliver customer products to delivery’s destinations and collections as required.
Securing loads in your trailer to ensure safe delivery to client’s customer base.
Deliveries will consist of retail store deliveries and bay to bay deliveries to some of Irelands Largest Retail Distribution centres.

Candidate Requirements:

Full Clean Driving Licence (EC)
Valid Digital Taco-graph card
Valid CPC Card – Including New CPC Module completed after the 10th of September 2024
Drivers require a minimum of 1 years Artic experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider
Good working track record
Excellent Knowledge of Irish Road Network

Hours of Work:

5 over 7 Required
Morning shift start times typically: 5am to 6am
Night shift start times typically: 4pm 5pm or 6pm
