This course includes refresher training and certification on one of the industry’s most popular vehicles, the Reach Truck. This is a 1-day course.
Our new purpose-built Forklift Training Centre is fully equipped with the latest Counterbalance, Reach and Power Pallet trucks. All ISM Forklift and Warehouse Training and instructors are accredited and approved by the RTITB.
Who Should Attend?
This course is for experienced operators looking to refresh their operating skills and certification to operate the Reach Truck in a safe and competent manner as outlined in Irish Health & Safety Legislation.
What Qualifications Will I Receive?
All trainees will receive an ISM Certificate on successful completion of the course. The training provides the qualification to operate the Reach Truck – in a safe and competent manner as outlined in Irish Health & Safety Legislation.

- Introduction to the Reach Truck
- Pre-use inspection and take over maintenance
- Controls and instruments
- Weight assessment
- Starting, moving off and stopping
- Handling both laden and unladen pallets
- Operation of the hydraulic controls
- Stacking and de-stacking – free standing and in racking
- Practical test of basic operating skills
- Written test of operating knowledge
