Is This The Training For You?
This course is for drivers who hold a Category C1 learner permit seeking training to upskill as a professional Light Truck driver in the Transport and Logistics Industry. This training will provide trainees with 6 hours of on-road training, a vehicle hire for their driving test, and certification to operate a Power Pallet truck and in manual handling. Participants will receive employment skills training to increase their job prospects. Trainees will avail of practical experience in ISM’s purpose-built Training Centre under the guidance of our qualified instructors.
Topics covered include:
- Professional driver training for a Category C1 licence
- Pre-use inspection, maintenance and safe operation of a Power Pallet
- Practical handling of different types of loads
