To whom it may concern,
I have just completed a 10 week HGV Rigid course at Partas centre in Tallaght and as a result have successfully passed my HGV Rigid driving test. The course was in my opinion very well laid out over the 10 week period. I was initially very apprehensive during the first module of the CPC, but was surprised by how easily it fell into place over the next few weeks. Our tutor Mr. John Connell put all participants at ease and was excellent in his delivery, and very comprehensive in any explanations to any queries during the CPC modules. The multiple choice and case study exams as a result were a breeze.
The ADR section which lasted a week was very intensive and packed with relevant content and Mr. John Lennon delivered the course like the expert he is. Again, the exams that followed were made so much easier by his attention to detail during the information packed week.
Joyce was immensely helpful in her assistance during the CV preparation and associated coursework. I now have a CV formatted to achieve the goal of securing a job.
I was surprised by the friendly and open attitude of the Trainers during the Fork Lift Truck course. All the people involved could not have been any more helpful in explaining the techniques of handling the machinery proficiently and with safety always at the fore. It was a great experience to be involved with experts in their field.
I wish to extend my gratitude to all the tutors involved in helping me complete the course with ease and confidence. But the tutor I would like to express my greatest thanks to is my driving instructor Ger. From the offset he was professional and sympathetic to each individuals needs with respect to their ability to control a large vehicle, and was able to encourage improvement in all the learners who were fortunate to receive his instruction. As a result of his direction I passed the driving test with just one fault.
Without doubt the course for me was a great success and would commend the architects of the project, including Frazier Meredith, David Fay, John Connell, John Lennon, Joyce, Ger, Tony, Seamus and all the instructors involved in all the different modules. I believe that success in the trucking industry will be easier to achieve because of this course and all the qualifications it has given me.
Thank you, to all involved. - Michael V Doyle
