If I could give more than 5 stars for Irish school of motoring I would. I can’t recommend enough. The instructors are top class and take great pride in getting the best out of students. Adam in the office was a pleasure to deal with. I was in the driving school for 4 weeks training for the bus license and I passed first time thanks to the help of the great instructors I had. If you are looking to train for any license whether it be car, truck or whatever go to Irish school of motoring. Thanks to the two Dave’s, Richie, Martin and Abdi for their time, support and encouragement.
Had towing lessons with David O Carroll. He was such an amazing calm instructor and really knew his stuff. I was like a bag of nervous but Dave helped me believe I could pass. The package of 6 lessons plus hire is the vehicle and 1 hour pretest was great value for money and well worth. Thanks ISM

Really good driving school and was glad they were open when we called not like the car dealership (mentioned in previous review) we last went to that was closed when we called when they listed open times and no one was around, waste of time.

Rofeda was a great instructor and taught me all the skills required. She was very friendly and patient.
I have just received my D Licence. ISM and in particular Richie Whyte guided me through the whole process and enabled me to pass the test first time. The advice on how to go about gaining a bus licence was spot on. I cannot recommend them enough.
I had Ronnie mac Donnell for a pretest the day before my test. He helped me fix all my bad habits therefore i passed the next day
I recently done my BE lessons for a trailer in the ism in finglas, having never driven with a trailer in my life Richie made everything simple and understood, passed the test, big thanks to Richie and all his knowledge!

Guys, the ISM Training Centre Tallaght is the best place where you can choose to learn how to operate the counterbalance Forklift and PPT (Power Pallet Truck). They priority are safety and with nice atmosphere make easy for us to learn. The instructors teaching us more than how operate the machines.I’ve learned precious lessons with them, lessons that I’ll never forget and it will help me to care the safety always in the first place in my life.“A bad reaction can change your life in seconds.”The line of life can be crossed in a microsecond…Prioritize your safety and the other safety in the end of the day when all be at home everyone will feel thankful.Thank you Brian Slater and all ISM Instructors for everything…For sure I recommend the ISM Training Centre Tallaght for you do your next course.😉👍
I had a bad experience. I paid for nothing, because I went there and I found a very old reach truck. Never I saw or drove a reach so old. As soon as I tried to drive it the instructor told me that I need to take the training again not the refresher.That was because I didn’t check my surroundings before I left. He was rude. I get down from the truck and I left. So I paid for nothing. I don’t find normal for an instructor to behave like that. He didn’t give me no chance. Very bad experience with ISM. I have been driving the reach for the last two years everyday. So……

They give you a warm welcome when you arrive, which makes you feel like you are in good hands.Highly recommended, with highly experienced and highly standard teachers. Carl, Brian and Mark give you their knowledge and best advice, they are very observant and pay attention to detail when teaching you, which is important in this job.The place have the best conditions and has good equipment to learn
I booked and paid for 12 lessons and my instructor not once allowed me drive to or from the lessons he picked me up brought me to a housing estate where I drove around the estate in circles for the majority of the lessons and then dropped me back home. For the last two lessons he brought me out on the actual road. A complete waste of 500 euro as I got virtually no training or experience driving on the actual road resulting in me having to buy more lessons to prepare me for my driving test. I've no doubt ISM is a great company which is why I chose them but unfortunately the instructor I got was a disgrace and had no interest in teaching me how to drive.
Have to say have a very professional and no there stuff just got my reach forklift am delighted now I can further my prospects cheers lads

Awful experience altogether. Quite frankly, a waste of my time at the expense of the tax payer. Didn't walk away with all qualifications advertised, through no fault of my own. Different instructor everyday, each giving different instruction to the other. Told I wasn't allowed to do reach, there was no time and I wasn't capable. I am capable. ISM agency itself told me their clients require forklift experience, can't make sense of that having just done a course with them. Eventually offered me general Operative work, after accepting I became unwell before starting. Gave them notice and was told they wouldn't be putting me forward for any positions and that the agreed position was now gone. When I told her people do get sick, she said she was sick and other lads were sick but still turned up today. No considerstion, treated like a bot. Don't waste your time, avoid.
Amazing place with great professionals to train and support during The span of course. Perfect explanation with thorough details being provided with at most care during the course. A fun loving atmosphere freshens up your mind free of any stress and better place to understand things being taught by all the employees around. Would like to mention a few trainers namely *MR. CARL O'MAHONY Mr. Brian Mr. Mick Mr.Mark. gem of personalities.Specially Mr. Carl is the indispensable character for humour and warm gesture towards fellow trainees.Highly recommended guys
I began forklift training with the team here for a week, the tutoring was next level A++ I was welcomed in with open arms and treated like a family member (Brian, Mick, Carl, Mark) are absolute gentlemen & their shared knowledge is brilliant, I first went in stressed and so nervous but after 30 mins I was laughing amongst the team and so much positivity was rained upon me gathering my confidence day-by-day. I highly recommend them to anyone who reads this 10/10 experience. I also passed my full ROI Driving Licence with ISM Tallaght and again a top tier class act experience, I passed with flying colours.

Did the 4 day novice training with these guys recently for the Counterbalance forklift and PPT. The instructors all did a great job of explaining the correct way to operate these machines with theory, examples and demonstrations. Very professional. Came away with a great understanding on how to make it simple and safe with some much needed time to practice and gain confidence.Looking forward to returning for my refresher.

I was expecting a simple refresher safety pass course , I was just amazed at the information available in construction that I wasn't aware of. It was presented with passion and profession, would recommend ISM for everyone,teacher had a great attitude and patience and most of all really helpful . It opened my eyes too all the dangers and laws when you're on site
