Company Description:

ISM Recruitment is proud to partner with our client a leading passenger touring company based in Dublin South. Our client are looking for a HGV Mechanic for their fleet of passenger buses to ensure vechiles are kept in road worthy and peak operating conditions. Candidates must have a QQI Level 6 in mechanics.

Reporting to Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

Adhere with HS&E Legislation, Group Policies and relevant Engineering SOPs.
Ad hoc and reactive repairs on or off site.
Daily defect and running repairs.
High quality and safety standards expected by adhering to First Engineering Standard Operating Procedures.
Liaise with internal and external spare parts suppliers.
On and off the job training in Ireland
Perform safety inspections, vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, interim & annual servicing.
Roadworthiness and other statutory preparations on our clients growing fleet of Large Public Service Vehicles.

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum QQI Level 6 standard or equivalent qualification (must have).
Experience of working with HGV, buses or coaches (desired).
A full category C, D or C+E (ROI) License, or willing to obtain.
Diagnostic tool and IT proficient.
You will need to be based in Dublin, or able to commute to work.

Salary and Benefits:

€45000 – €58,000 per year DOE
20 days holiday per year (plus Public Holidays).

Cycle to Work Scheme.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday and Alternate Weekends
7:00am to 3:30pm
