Primary focus of the role is to support Production and to work collaboratively with the IS&T Department, Process & Test Engineering on deploying Test and Automation solutions. A key element of the role will be aligning the physical processes with my client’s Service Platforms (i.e. ERP, CRM, Customer Facing Portals).

You will be responsible for:
” Overseeing the successful delivery of various Engineering Projects.
” Proven People Leader as well as a Technical Expert.
” Provide hands-on Engineering support to Operations, maintaining production uptime.
” Develop production metrics & corresponding KPI reporting.
” Lead the improvements of existing process plus new process implementation across multiple business divisions & sites.
” Identifying opportunities for process/system enhancements and drive Continuous Improvement projects.
” Work with Test Engineering on automation development & client test solutions deployment.
” Drive the production rollout of test solution, aligning the physical & System processes.
” Use project management methodologies to Scope, Plan & deliver projects to schedule & budget.
” Manage the team’s performance conduct performance reviews, training & development plans. Assist with recruitment when required.
” Ensure compliance to all production procedures/work instructions & Engineering Change Notifications.
” Write well-structured work instructions and training material, ensuring all related documentations are maintained and kept up to date.
” Interacts effectively with internal and external customers.

Candidate Requirements:
” Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
” 10+ years Senior Engineer experience.
” Previous People Management experience required.
” Lean, CI or PM qualification preferable
” Engineering Supervisor or Supervisory role.
” Proficiency with IT systems, ERP, CRM, QMS etc desirable.
” Proven working experience in Project Management.
” Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
” Working Knowledge of Nav Dynamics 2015 an advantage.
” Problem Solver with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
” Attention to detail with the ability to make quick appropriate decisions to get things done.
” Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical.
” Ability to effectively balance several tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
” Ability to travel as per business needs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Salary and Benefits:
€50,000 per annum
Permanent role
Working Monday to Friday – Weekends off.
